In 1939, Lehigh Valley Transit reenforced its decision to maintain and modernize Allentown to Philadelphia Liberty Bell service by acquiring thirteen former Cincinnati and Lake Erie Railroad Company cars and one Indiana Railroad Company car.  Here is the history of these compact higher speed cars, from their early days in Ohio and Indiana, through their LVT years,  to  their fate upon elimination of Liberty Bell service in 1951. 82 pages, spiral bound with cardstock cover.  Published and printed 1964.
